THE MILLION SOLAR ROOFS INITIATIVE (MSRI)

The Million Solar Roofs Initiative (MSR) enables businesses and communities to install one million solar rooftops across the
United States by 2010. The Department of Energy is leading this trailblazing initiative by working with partners in the building industry, local governments, state agencies, the solar industry, electric service providers, and non-governmental organizations to remove barriers and strengthen the demand for solar technologies. Farmingdale State University Solar Energy Center and Renewable Energy Long Island (RELI) jointly received a grant from DOE under MSRI program which will be sponsoring part of SOLAR LONG ISLAND 2005 Conference. The purpose of this conference is to bring together all stakeholders to look at the strategies for removing barriers for the use of solar energy specifically on Long Island.

Farmingdale State University seeks sponsors for this event. Your sponsorship will be a great contribution to the efforts of promoting clean, sustainable energy use and generation for Long Island. Please click the following links for further information on sponsorship and vendor registration.
