Personnel Requirements

Personnel requirements can be among the most difficult to plan because of the number of philosophies relating to personnel. All of those philosophies are debatable and none of them are universally accepted. If the management of a facility adopts one or more of these philosophies, facilities planner conforms with them. The planning of personnel requirements include the following:

Office space

Elevators

Escalators

Parking lots

Locker rooms

Restrooms

Lounges

Cafeteria

Recreation areas

Health services

Aisles

Drinking Fountains

Special requirements for the personnel with disabilities set by ADA ( Americans with Disabilities Act)

Special requirements set by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act)
